Shuddha Chittam

Shuddha teaches Traditional Hatha Yoga, guiding students to witness the body, breath and thoughts, creating mindfulness through Yoga. She believes that mind and body healing can be experienced through the traditional Yoga postures, bestowing benefits to the practitioner by holding the poses and repetition. Shuddha also has an ardent interest in alignment in her classes and regularly attends Iyengar classes to deepen her experience of postural awareness.

Shuddha started practicing Yoga when she was 14 years old at the Sivananda Yoga Ashram in Perth. 9 years later she completed her first teacher training and started teaching in 2005. She has her own daily practice of Yoga and Meditation and frequently attends Vipassana meditation silent retreats to deepen her practice.
